Dragons must undergo thorough courtship traditions before others will be interested in breeding with them. The Grand Display pushes their skills to the limit, ensuring only the finest of Dragons will go on to breed. Each element has their own traditions to impress others of their kind, though this same practice can dissuade their opposing element from breeding. Regardless of this, achieving their own element’s Grand Display is a dream of every growing dragon, and they are eager to enter into the ceremony as soon as permitted.
If you intend to change the sex of your dragon, the Rites of Renewal must be completed before the Grand Display is completed.
Companion Search
If your Display requires a companion, click the desired element to find companions that match! Check the gift art rules before drawing companions. Day may use Fire/Jungle/Thunder/Earth/Light and Night may use Ocean/Wind/Storm/Dark/Metal in addition to their own element(s).
ART REQUIREMENTS
- Up to four dragons may complete their Grand Display in one set of images.
- Images must be full body, with a standard background, color, and shading.
- You are welcome to include all three prompts in the same canvas, but they must separated by a clear and distinct border.
- Collaborations are welcome, but they do not raise the limit of participating dragons. The maximum remains four.
LITERATURE REQUIREMENTS
- Up to four dragons may complete their Grand Display in one set of writing.
- Grand Displays have a minimum of 600 words. In addition, you can claim an activity for every 300 words if there is more than one dragon that isn’t a companion. This means that four dragons completing their GCs at the same time will have a word minimum of 1200.
- Companions can’t claim activity rolls from Grand Displays. However, they can claim EXP and Familiar rolls.
- You can have dragons other than the companions doing activities. If the activity is different (such as a magic unlock VS grand display), it still contributes to the minimum word count.
- You are welcome to include all three prompts in the same story, but they must be clearly separated by headings and each must have its own individual word count.
- Collaborations are welcome, but they do not raise the limit of participating dragons. The maximum remains four.

Round One: Strength Trial
Before they can impress potential mates, they must earn the respect of an elemental dragon matching their own element which has already passed through the Grand Display. This dragon should also not belong to the same player as the dragon going through the trial. Depict your dragon fighting its companion for this prompt! You may choose to portray the dragons using their elemental magic, even if they have not unlocked those abilities yet. Alternatively, show the dragon impressing its companion with a mastery of their element.
- Note: If you include more than one dragon in a set of rites, each dragon must have its own unique companion!

Round Two: Flexibility Trial
Show your dragon traveling outside of their normal terrain (in example, if they are a Storm dragon, they could travel through a desert. there should be no sandstorms or anything that would make it cozier for them.). Another dragon from another player of the terrain’s element that has already completed their Grand Display must accompany the dragon.
- Note: If you include more than one dragon in a set of rites, each dragon must have its own unique companion!
- The Rider exp bonus gives an additional +1.

Round Three: Providence Trial
To complete the Providence Trial, your dragon must prove that they can provide for a family. Show them fulfilling one of the following prompts:
- Finding an amazing deep sea treasure.
- Gathering or hunting a feast.
- Having a daring adventure through an unexplored cave.
No companion is needed for this prompt.
